I am a composer and comic here in New York. I grew up in a town called Port Washington, out on Long Island. My mom works with animals and my dad is a retired businessman. I have an older brother named Austin.
I studied composition with Michael Hersch at Johns Hopkins University, and with Reiko Füting at the Manhattan School of Music. Nowadays, I write music for me and a handful of my friends. I also like doing it on the fly, trying to improvise music at the piano.
I do stand-up around the city, wherever they will let me. There’s nothing more fun than getting up on stage and getting weird, getting real silly. Sometimes people laugh, sometimes people don’t. In addition to stand-up comedy, I publish write-down comedy in a semi-regular humor periodical called The Index-Card Review.
